Oh Wow !

"My Girl" was one of those songs that got stuck in my head and I'd be humming it for days. The harmonies were very good.

Great memories

Almost all of these songs are really good, but nobody has mentioned "Arms of Mary" yet - this is a real classic from my youth in British Columbia. I haven't heard it for years, and it's wonderful to hear it now.

ahhh...music from my childhood!

This one is worth your downloads....get the whole thing! This album really has all their best and every one of these tracks was played on the radio over the last 25-30 years! Great band with a softer clean sound that still rocks. Bill Henderson (lead vocalist)'s daughter is the awesome backup singer for Sarah McLachlan.... pretty talented! They still play around and still draw a crowd -- keep going guys! Nice to see this on emusic!!!!

Whats A Chilliwack?

BadSanta

I lived in Canada in the early 70's and heard this band on the radio quite a bit. "Crazy Talk" was a big hit back then. I downloaded the whole album and was very happy with it. If you like 70's soft rock you should check it out.

Soft Rock Classic

FemmeBotte

This British Columbian band put out a rockin'debut in 1970 before settling in to a West Coast soft rock sound for the rest of that decade.(Think-a heavier Firefall). They were good up 'till 1982.The tracks to snag here are-3,4,5,8,12,13 and Crazy Talk(easily the best and most popular song here).P.S.-The vocal is falsetto but not irritating.

They Say All Music Guide

Chilliwack’s sound harnesses a smooth, semi-hard rock feel that is spotlighted by Bill Henderson’s fly-away vocals, on top of some light keyboard work sprinkled in the background. With nine albums under their belt, this greatest-hits album fuses all of their best songs in one place and makes for a truly solid package. Their biggest hit, “My Girl (Gone Gone Gone)” is one of the most enjoyable tunes here, along with the beautiful “I Believe” and the lonely sounding “Fly at Night.” The pace is sped up a bit on songs like “Don’t Stop” and “Whatcha Gonna Do,” helping to balance out the lighter material. Henderson’s voice is pleasing to the ear and is the soul of this group. Some of the lesser-known tracks on this album, like “Rain-O” and “Getting Better,” hold their own, and round out a sincerely delightful collection. – Mike DeGagne
