Engagingly pop-like, varied collection of devotional songs to the goddess in Tamil. South Indian music has a lilt and spring all its own, and in this album a lot of other influences add spice--some cuts sound almost Middle-Eastern, others Bollywood, and so on. Well worth checking out.
