Chris is at his best in concert...
I love to hear Chris de Burgh's concert albums. The variations from the way I'm used to hearing songs on the studio recordings are wonderful, and this album is no exception.

The King of rock 'n roll in blistering form
There are none of his hits on here: no Ace of Spades, no Smoke on the Water, no I'm an Uptown Uptempo Woman (You're a Downtown Downbeat Guy); and yet the King of Rock 'n Roll does not disappoint.
"River Sessions" - under a new name
This is actually the River Sessions album under a new name and dates back to live recordings from 1981. The quality of the recordings is excellent - all live with a full band and agreat addition to your collection. The last 2 tracks are solo recordings from a radio session. Even better if you like acoustic versions. Not a new album, nor a new release. plus the photo is a recent one but the recordings are old. But great stuff nonetheless.
