Genuinely Great!
Chris Zippel must be some kind of downtempo/ambient magician. On his debut album titled "Genuine Horizon", most of the tracks, in my opinion, start with a very ordinary introduction however half-way through any given song, you suddenly stop to realize that what you're listening to has become really enjoyable. The progression from beginning to end is slow and very subtle yet it turns every song into sweet honey for the ears. Charming release. Don't be fooled by the first 30 secs of any of the songs, let them flow from beginning to the end and you'll enjoy. Oh, and burning incense and laying down on your favorite couch helps too. 4/5
