I think this may be the worst thing I have EVER sampled on eMusic!
I liked Fancy Footwork but...
I tried this based on my love of Fancy Footwork & I have to say Business Casual is a disappointment. Nothing really wrong with the tunes but half of them did not keep up my interest. There are four, maybe five strong songs here for me. They are track 1, 2, 3, 5 & 8. Grow up is a little too close to Huey Louis for my taste. Living through that style once was enough-didn't like it then & don't like it now.
This Jams!!!
This album is awesome!! It's a great follow-up to Fancy Footwork. It's got a bit of everything, slow jams, uptempo dancy numbers. My favorite songs are: Grow Up, Hot Mess, Night by Night, J'ai Claqué La Porte. Grow up reminds me of Huey Lewis, stellar pop song!! My only complaint would be that the album is too short, but that's why there's a "repeat all" option. I can't get enough, I bought it on its release date, then it showed up here on eMusic 2 weeks later. Get it, you won't be disappointed.
