Really dark and creepy. The artwork gives you an accurate image of what to find in here. Maybe there's a bit of Blair witch here in too. Listening to itself is kind of difficult because of the weirdness of the whole concept, but it is excellent as background music (I'm thinking of D&D sessions). I liked the first part better. The second part has a strange sound at the beginning and the end (I won't spoil it for you).
I have to admit that the only reason I bought this was: "60 minutes for the cost of 2 downloads? sure...". This is background noise. Great for playing RPGs, reading Clive Barker books, and other similar activities. This is not something I would actively listen to, or play in my car.
The ever-mutating, ever unpredictable Controlled Bleeding has given us a good dark ambient album here, broadly similar to Lustmord. It has enough going on to be interesting, but it's not so much that it's distracting...And for two downloads, it's a good deal.
