The next Madlib
My God, I just came down a few weeks ago from listening repeatedly to Madlib's Beat Konducta album and wrote a raving review about it and BANG! this one comes along. This album is just as crazy and innovative as Madlib's disc. Count Bass, however, is a much better MC than Madlib, who sucks on the mic. My first exposure to Count Bass D was his track "Potholderz" on MF Doom's "MM Food" album, so I checked this one out. Damn, this guy is talented! Get this album now, tell everyone you know about it, and make this man rich - he deserves it. (Also, check out "Dan Spitz" too - it's great) P.S. Be advised though that this is mainly an instrumental album, so if great DJing doesn't turn you on, this might not be for you.
