great performance poor recording

Boy, I'm at odds here...love the intimate stripped down arrangements of Bachman's stuff but really find the recording subpar...sounds like an audience recording and there is constant talking amongst the audience and a strange hum throughout...I've found that all these Maxwell's recordinds are suspect....sorry but really wished I hadn't downloaded it as it just teases you with the sublime performance but ultimately (at least for me) deal breaking audio quality.....

Stripped down and revealing

If you are a fan of Eric Bachman's work, you'll want to pick up this minimal collection. Recorded as a solo show with Mssr. Bachman on guitar or piano and vocals with occasional support from Lara Meyerattken, you can imagine demos or early sparse versions of songs from the Crooked Fingers catalogue. This is a very enjoyable set of music, well recorded.
