Worm Hole to a Moment in Time

TUNETASTER

This album stands among a dozen or so that epitomizes a vibrant period in this nation's past. Carry On's vocals in this genre remain peerless harmonically.

I'm Impressed...

nickjacket

by the reviews that pick apart each track as good or not but I'm not persuaded. At the time this LP reached store shelves, all album rock ever made could be kept in a large room. The compact cassette wasn't even competing with 8-track cartridges yet. This means that the tune Woodstock *was* Woodstock, the genre, the era, the event and lifestyles launched by it. This album is such an anchor to where folk had come and rock was going that to pick apart each track would be unkind. When purchased for $4, this album was generally placed on a turn-table and left playing without touch buttons that skip around to "the good ones". That made them all good ones.

Overrated!?!?!

kemporiole

Are you insane martuccij? "Vastly overrated"? The only possible weakness on this album is Our House. Overall it's one of the top 10 or 20 rock albums ever! Again, ever! And vastly better than 4-Way Street!

Greatest Album of my Generation

This is the classic you never tire of!

great album

Scotchie

All around great album showcasing the different writing styles of each member of the band. Each song written is distinctive to that member but all seem to blend perfectly to form the whole album.

The essence of 1970

Psychsound

CSNY was the classic late '60s early '70s bad. Most of this album is great, with the band members in their prime. A must have.

Must Have

marlinmc

OK, maybe you had to be there and I confess to having been "there". None-the-less, this album is one of the classics of rock and should be in any essential collection of the genre. CSN&Y had more talent (and no small amount of dysfunction) in one band than anyone knew what to do with. Download the whole thing and let your freak flag fly!

Overrated....

This was vastly overrated when it came out - and it has not gotten better with time. Download "4 Way street" instead. It's much more compelling.

An Old Progressive!

homesong_46

Earlier comments were interesting - the only 2 songs I know from this album - and my reason in being interested in this CD - the 2 songs I will be downloading shortly - are "Teach Your Children" and "Our House"! But them I AM a progressive and I AM 63, so I will have no problem at all keeping my lunch down!
