Let Down
Great music of course, but the sound quality is poor.

"Purple Moon" is one of the most melodic jazz duets you'd ever want to hear. Take Igor Stravinsky (the opening bars of The Rite of Spring) and turn Paul Desmond loose on it. "At a Perfume Counter" is an example of Brubeck's big two-fisted improv style. It doesn't so much end as it dies of sheer exhaustion. Wow.
