This seems to be an anthology of Luxton's earlier works, and it is a good representation of his style. Mr. Luxton's music leans toward the 'New Age' style of ambience due to it's pronounced cinematic presence and tone. Dave's music reminds one in some ways of 'Galactic Anthem's', Glenn Smith's approach to the medium. I am a new-arrival to the Luxton 'space-music' school, have to listen more seriously to his earlier albums. Which is why I awarded this collection four stars. If you like Phillip Wilkerson, Andrew Lahiff, and Rudy Adrian, then this will be a no-brainer.
