Prime McKenna
This Dave McKenna collection is probably from early in his career, and does nothing to change my opinion that he was the finest solo jazz pianist of his time. What a blessing to have heard him so many times while living in Schenectady NY in the 80s. He would travel as far from Boston as a bus and a decent jazz club would allow. Dave is missed.
