Eclectic and mesmerising
Wow, David Burnham has a great voice! And the album contains a diverse range of songs to showcase it. Some of the tracks are simply superb, particularly his rendition of 'Someone to Fall Back On', already a beautiful song. The raw honesty of the lyrics is matched by his clear tone and sincerity. Also worth particular note are a very upbeat version of 'I Wish I Were In Love Again' and one of the best renditions of 'Close Every Door' from Joseph... that I've heard for a long time. A couple of the duets left me somewhat cold, but overall this album is well worth listening to.
