Dean Miller’s debut is, for the most part, by-the-numbers contemporary country — slick, processed and formulaic; the record’s best track is the closer, “The Running Side of Me,” which offers Miller the opportunity to pursue an edgier path away from the mainstream and offers an intriguing glimmer of real talent beneath the glossy veneer. – Jason Ankeny
