I felt a good connection to the drive

behind this piece overall. VERY well played. And to throw a parcel of contention, I didn't like number 1 simply because it relies too much on the hiphop form (sorta one dimensional, and not my pill) but i could totally agree on the quality of this effort, top notch. And finally the cracked egg in the basket rolls over to reveal an old extrawanky break think: I really dig that ill received track 9, it needs a bit of listener discretion and some soft equalizer tuning. If you listen to this music very loud (specially with in-canal earbuds_) you will pay to the tax office of high frequency (they send tiny elves with bells and ring in your ear until the charges are dropped). Give it a light spur on the equalizer and keep it classy. This album comes wrapped in hiphopish lather, but it can be the real thing(K).

awesome minus 1

Choprite

I had a good listen to Lazer Thrash last night and was quite blown away (almost literally) by the onslaught of demented erratic beats, though the beats are patterned and imo done quite well. As for the synths and samples, while not heavily layered, have a real nice dark moody tone to them which complements the beats well. I enjoyed all the tracks except track 9 which is a little bit too spastik for my liking. I think track 1 is quite brilliant and is a track I keep coming back to, basically to hear the way the vocals transfom, very nice. So overall awesome minus 1 cause of track 9.

It's OK

It's OK, it's a bit kind of superficial. There's all these skittery breakcore beats which are very nice but the other sounds that go along with them are a bit simple and dull. Track 1 is good, with what it does to a hip-hop vocal, and as a way to build into the album. Goblin and Banal Universe are good too.
