If you love metal, you have to get this
Die Happy has some of the best musicians that no one ever has heard of, so to speak. The technical precision of the this band is a wonder to fathom. The lyrics are thought provoking a la Plato one song and sarcastic the next. Painted Truth, for example, speaks about how education in the US does not teach, but it actually indoctrinates. (I wonder if Alex Jones listens to these guys?) As for loving raunchy guitars by Larry Farkas and smooth southern rock inspired crooning similar to Johnny Van Zant and moments later operatic energy similar to Roy Khan or Geoff Tate, (the other members are great too, but I don't remember their names) you won't be disappointed by Die Happy!
