This album is an excellent illustration of the pros and cons of self-publishing: there are moments that a professional record company would have challenged Duels on, some of them would have made mild improvements, others would have stripped this of its truly independent spirit. If you're on eMusic, you've already made your choice. I downloaded this from the band's site a year ago, and I still keep coming back to it. Heavy, passionate music - just do it! Highlights include Perimeter Fence, The Furies and The First Time/The Last Time
