This one seems to have a similar vibe to early post-Burdon War...and what's wrong with that?
Don't hate on EW&F's two Warner Brothers pre-Philip Bailey releases. This sophomore album from Maurice White and company was the jam! "Energy" is a funky jazz number. "I Can Feel It In My Bones" kicks butt! And yes, the Sherry Scott-led ballad "I Think About Loving You" is a classic.
With the exception of "I Think About Lovin' You," this is not very good at all.
