This superior effort marks the debut of 22-year-old Jerry Rivas as a replacement for Andy Montañez; his grave vocals almost make the difference in a tune like “Que Falta de Respeto.” This recording was the beginning of the well-known combination of Charlie Aponte and Jerry Rivas, as known today.
