Fun Album!
Some forgettable tracks; mixed with unforgettable ones. This is actually a really decent start for a very quality group. BIG Complaint is the absence of drummer Louis Messina Jr. He's uncredited on the album. If he did play, it certainly doesn't show. Songs that stand out during live performances like "Dance" and "Don't Be Afraid", suffer as what would be Lawlor & Leigh's guitar fury are turned into polished angular pop. Even the album closer "Who Put the Fire Out", which is so massive on its own, sort of begs for someone to slam it out. Besides that, give it a spin.
