Erica Wheeler’s fourth album, 1999′s Three Wishes, was produced by Steven Miller, who has also worked with Dar Williams on The End of Summer as well as producing Wheeler’s previous album, The Harvest. As with her previous albums, Three Wishes showcases Wheeler’s literate, sensitive, rootsy folk. Tracks include “January Wind,” “Frozen River,” “Angels,” and “Saturday,” all of which display her fine songwriting and down-to-earth voice. – Heather Phares
