The Right Balance

etripper

Erik strikes the 'right balance' on this album offering. If your familiar with Moodafaruka, Rudy Adrian, Ry Cooder and Lanterna, then this will surely delight. It is both rustic and ambient at once, without the self-parody of some 'New Age' CD's. This has the feel of some early Windham Hill guitarists.

I like this, a smoother less edgy take on the synth, acoustic guitar thing that Fuhrs and Froeling did way back in the 70's with an AMAZING album called Ammerland.

Acoustical Gem

mojackper

I've listened to acoustical and new age music on-and-off over the years, but have recently been searching for some new background tracks for slideshows, and discovered this gem of an effort. Red Guitars and Moving are very nice pieces. Coming across albums like this one every once in awhile makes Emusic worth the price. Anxious to give Wollo's other works a shot, many of which are thankfully available here.

I heard a few of the 28sec samples and was so impressed that i began downloading it. Then, all of a sudden i recognised 'Computerlobe' and 'Hall of Mirrors' and realised they a terrific guitar covers of Kraftwerk tracks. Computerlobe should be computerlove actually ;) Great album and worthy of anyones download credits! 10/10 Mr Wollo

I'm impressed. Why hasn't this been reviewed yet??? Great Guitars with ambeint background. The mix of acoustic and electric is impressive. The longer tracks seem to be the best. Blue Sky and Red Guitars are my favorites
