Very Traditional Fiddling
When I saw the "Slow Airs" in the title and the New Age genre, I was afraid this album might be inspired too much by the dreamy, romantic, almost mystical style often associated with the New Age tag. I was delighted to hear that it exemplifies perfectly very traditional Irish fiddling. It is a wonderful album with beautiful slow airs, fine guitar accompaniment, and a much livelier style on many tracks than you might have guessed.
