'Americana' not completely wrong

In the very early years that would be about right, but by this time they were developing something very different indeed. Not pristine recordings, but a sort of archeological artifact and moving in its own way. The sort of thing that gets reviews that end with the phrase 'for completeists'.

This wasn't a great recording originally, the transfer to mp3 has not helped. and I'm with the previous reviewer "Americana" WTF???

is taxonomical blasphemy. The band's entire raison d'etre is pretty much to make music that is grounded, to one degree or another, in their _British_ roots.
