Can't believe this band are are relatively little known outside of their hometown. Great sense of restrained, dark and biting humour on this album along with buckets of head-nod riffs and soaring melodies. Clean Plastic Baby is a tune I come back to a lot with it's catchy, yet sinister progression. Dead and Cinema with their chanting vocals and solid grooves rule too.
So ecstatic to see these guys on here. I can almost smell the Wow Hall and taste the beer. These guys never made much of presence outside of the Pac. NW and while that is a shame it is awesome that these hometown heroes stayed local and true to the purest roots of rock. If you were a 90's child and miss the distortion and vibe of well composed heavy music, sludgey and trudgey yet delicately beautiful at its very core , check out this band. The recorded albums are awesome but nothing will ever truly display the visceral experience of seeing these guys live. No fluff or BS here....this is gritty no nonesense rock at its finest.
floater is the beasliest band ever, i to have witnessed there glory many times and it truly is great to share this with the world. fuzzy's review is totally on hit so ima go check out cd babies
A rock'n album from a bunch a folks who used to rock. if you like this one check out sink. The rest is for Bizkit fans
As a NW Music fan I am truly blessed to be living in the Land of Floater. I been going to shows performed by these rock-GODS for years now and I am so ecstatic that the rest of the world can witness the truly amazing sound and versatility of one of the best bands in the world. This music has changed my life and made all other music pale in comparison for me. Once you see this band live and realize the sheer musical genius that this trio produces, while sounding better than on their recordings, they will enter your veins like a powerful narcotic that you will never want to kick. Buy a booster and download EVERY one of their albums and then go to CD Baby's website and buy their others. You will not be disappointed!
