Best Before 1984
The seizure of this album from Manchester's Eastern Bloc records by the police mentioned on the biog omits one fact: the title of the album was in tiny letters across the top of the sleeve, and you'd have to look closely to see it. The police chief at the time was a real nut: a born again xtian weirdo who had sworn to smash the left in Manchester (there were a lot of us!)Strange, because this is a quite thoughtful record underneath the slabs of guitar feedback. The police didn't touch anything like 'SPG' by the Exploited or 'Police Bastard' by Doom (preview them on this site) but nothing ever died from a contradiction.
