Bridge & Britten
Listening to Bridge's music on this disc, one can hear the influence he had on Benjamin Britten especially for me comparing 'The Sea ' suite to Britten's music in 'Peter Grimes'. This is my first encounter with Frank Bridge as a composer of full orchestral music and he is a real find, sadly neglected. Bring on more- especially in the concert hall- A great disc to start exploring this fine British composer!
