A lot of fun
Piano is fun, witty lyrics, and a taste of nostalgia. Reminds me of when music on the radio growing up, listenable and fun to sing.

Frank Campi's debut is full of likable pop music that falls somewhere in between Pet Sounds lushness and the swirling hooks of the first Jellyfish album (I also hear a bit of the Nines). The piano is upfront, so I've seen some comparisons to Ben Folds, but he's probably closer in style to Paul McCartney's music hall pop numbers (or more accurately, Todd Rundgren's impersonation of those songs on "Deface the Music"). The songs come off effortlessly, but there are multiple melodies and lots of ideas loaded into every song, making for a very rich sound. Try "Anna" or "Little Girl" for some straight ahead pop songwriting.
Upbeat fun and an easy listen.
