The second full-length record from Front Line Assembly, State of Mind was also the second of three albums the group released on a month-by-month basis between December 1987 and February 1988. Recorded with the group’s original line-up of Bill Leeb and Michael Balch, the album finds Front Line in an experimental dance music mode typical of its early work. – Jason Ankeny
