I vote for originals
they sound like the originals to me too. Good sound quality for the most part and worth picking and choosing and downloading- try "Rainbow" if you only know Duke of Earl
Definitely the original recordings.
I have an original (scratched up) copy of "Duke Of Earl" on 45. The recording here is identical. Re-recordings tend to be in stereo; this is in mono.
