Great collection of previously unreleased routines

DevilsMischief

This bonus disc from the Little David Years box set is made up of gems that never made it to any album. There are no real liner notes, but judging from the sounds I'd say there are about 7 tracks each from the 70s and 80s, and 2 or 3 tracks each from the 60s and 90s. You'll hear the hilarious continuations of his classic "Sports" and "Losing Things" routines from "Playin' With Your Head". There are also two different routines on "Hitchhiking", one from the 70s and one from the 80s, which shows you how he refined it over the years. "Monopoly" was on his first HBO special but again never made it to LP. For 90s material, there's the jaw-dropping attack on a heckler, "How to Handle a Heckler" along with a few others. The disc finishes with "The Coney Island Recordings", a medley of cute impersonations and comedy sketches that Carlin recorded as a boy.
