I second what everyone else is saying here... maybe the best concert I have ever seen. No Joke.

i reiterate that you must see this band live - recording does them little justice. Saw them at Dfest last night, they gave me shivers. I haven't seen such an amazing live performance in a long time - and i see a lot of concerts.

also stumbled upon them at the '07 ACL. they were off the hook with their music and an amazing laser show. the crowd was buzzing and wondering just who the f they were. i just saw them last night at a tiny club here in San Francisco and they were just as good (even had a mini laser set). it's amazing that just two guys can produce this much sound...and their singer is just so entertaining to watch.

e-music, please get the proper Ghostland Observatory albums so that everyone here can partake in the goodness. This live recording isn't very good and doesn't do the band justice. The G.O. sound is a sublime mixture of Indie, electronic, and countless other elements. I highly recommend them.

I happened to stumble across Ghostland Observatory last year at Austin City Limits (this very performance) and was absolutely blown away. If you get a chance to see them live, GO! Unfortunately, the start of this recording seems to lack a low end, so it takes a bit of the power out of the music, but it does come back a bit later on.
