This is fun
Well I decided to see what this was about on the principal that what you've never heard you'll never miss. The title tracks are quite astonishing - like a modernisation of Corsican throat singing - and very involving. i was amused by the 'Altsi for Piano' as it's the first time I've heard the sampler at a loss for something to do - 2 crashing chords in 15 seconds, must hear what happens next… There is so much interesting music out there which seems to lurk unacknowledged; thank you, eMusic for bringing this to my attention! And to think I started out by looking for La Venexiana … I found them all right; what ISN'T hiding in the shrubbery?
