Fine if it were your dorm mates but damn
This isn't a review for personal expression--all bands are great if they're trying their best; this should be a review about how well the band emotes feeling from the listener, and to be blunt, this band is still just personally expressing themselves and does nothing for me. Don't lecture me about how its not about me--bs, if the listener isn't moved then what is the band actually offering? Do I need to lsiten to someone elses need to express themself? Hell I 'd rather listen to myself. I'm older and know more. No, I listen to the bands that go beyond personal expression because they make ME feel things --things OUTSIDE of the band's own personal need for self-ingratiation (is that a word?) OH and this rambling review itself, of course, is not meant to be purchased, so I can be as self-centered as I want and unaffected by pseudo-clever criticism that I indulge in the same quagmire as this band does.
