Allelujah! Don’t Bend! Ascend!
Socially stripped yet societally poignant, sonic insurgence carefully carved with a blunt chisel, it's music that reveals the splendour and purpose that may arise out of cooperatively antagonistic forms of aggression. Violence belongs to relativism and beauty is an attitude! The album managed to instantly energize me out of a lingering depression of sorts with its 1st track, and with absolutely no anger or angst aftertaste, just a wide smile! "Uplifting" may seem like a wholly contradictory qualifier for this band as well as much of their work (excluding the pretentious Yanqui U.X.O.), but there you have it; to be sure, apt album title.
