GOTYE--MAKING MIRRORS
Save your credits. The hit is pretty good, the rest is fairly unoriginal and sadly bereft of Xylophone & interesting percussion...

This track sounds like shit, How are you going to charge for a song that sounds static and such. I can get a better copy fromo youu tube and that is free. If this continues I will cancel my account
If like this album, DO NOT MISS SEEING GOTYE ON TOUR! It was hands down one of the best shows i've seen in years. The songs blossomed in the hands of the talented performers I saw.
I first heard Gotye's "Hearts A Mess" a couple years ago and loved so when I saw they finally had a full album out I was excited, and I wasn't let down. Every song on this album made me feel something and has it's own twist, which is something I love and look for.
I first heard of Gotye when their single "Somebody I Used to Know", and I asked a friend if Sting had a new song out. She was like, "No, it's this new artist..." The rest was history. I kind of fell for this artist and his music. It has a great fusion of folk meets contemporary. It's an interesting mix of songs.
I really wasn't sure what to expect when my boyfriend mentioned hearing one of their songs. The album runs the gamut from pop to new age. I didn't enjoy listening to the album as a whole. I found listening to the individual tracks as part of my MP3 mix is much more enjoyable. That way each song stands on its own merits and improves the enjoyment.
This album is a lot more then the 'Somebody' single. I found it was a very good mixture of styles. Give it a listen. I don't think you'll be disappointed! ...4.5/5
It would be nice if the album information would include featuring Kimbra. :/
This is my favorite records since Doves "Kingdom Of Rust" (2009)
Wow, I love it instantly. Past present future all wrapped up in one. Creepy yet cool.
