Touch of Light
This album is another beautiful, and relaxing ride from the multi-instrumentalist named Govi. As on previous albums, Govi effortlessly glides between formats dubbed world, nu-jazz, noveau-falmenco, and new age as only a consummate virtuoso could. He's the master of many 'stringed-instruments' but his guitar-work is always stellar. On this offering, Govi leans more toward the breezy, caribe-styled form of delivery. Of course, he always livens it up with a few latin-inpired numbers. His discography is loaded with excellent choices. If you like Jim Stubblefield, Johannes Linstead, Benise, Nocy, and Tierra Negra then Govi, will surely measure up!
