This Ain't Rap Karoake, Homie
This album is great. Mcenroe delivers a set of beats that seem tailor-made for Gruf's rhymes. Great hip hop finds the perfect blend of music with lyrics and this album personifies that. If you are looking for head nodding production, intricate rhymes, and songs that have a point then you have found an album for you. "Fillossaphee" and "Elbow Grease" find Pip Skid and Gruf trading rhymes over insane beats. And seriously, "Whiplash" and "You Need To Relax" are prime examples of just how effective a medium hip hop can be.
