A Lost Classic

carlosdev

One of the great albums of the Southeastern jangle rock movement that also produced bands like REM, Let's Active, the dBs, Swimming Pool Qs and countless others. These were one of the best of them but they sadly never got their due. On the strength of their singles "Watusi Rodeo" and "Trail of Tears" they would get signed to Elektra, release some great but underappreciated albums and fade to black. Best tracks here; the two aforementioned plus Heathen Rage, Fire From Heaven and Ghosts on the Road. Also check out Michael Rockefeller and Dead Eyes from the not out on CD Jamboree album as well.

One of the albums...

rainman

that started my lifelong love of music. I don't know what it is, but this album just works on all levels for me.

Finally!!

in2vinyl2003

I've been waiting forever for these to be available! I have the vinyl, but wanted them on disc. And here they are finally. And with extra songs. For the uninitiated(sp?) check out the haunting Trail of Tears, the fun and ironic Watusi Rodeo, or the jangly Heathen Rage. Plus songs from their other excellent album Jamboree. Songs like Michael Rockefeller or Dead Eyes. Every song on here is a treat. They should have been more famous. Enjoy.
