What a GEM and a STEAL!!!
This is effectively Mahler playing Mahler. It's an exotic "recording" technology from the turn of the century and many of the great composers of the time made several famous piano "rolls" that were essentially exact recordings of their "live" performance. This is as close as we'll ever get and to be honest, a LOT better quality than if one were to find an old Edison recording from the same era. This is truly AMAZING! A must for any Mahler fan.
