A hybrid mesh of two distinctive styles.

Aes Dana and Solar Fields are sucessful entities in their own right. The album 'Distances' displays the depth these two artists bring to the playing field. My favorite cut on this outing is "Symetric Lifes". All the selections are well thought-out with great production values, that are evident in the final mixes. If your a fan of Biosphere's brand of eclectic ambience, or the music of Healer, then this could be your forte too. This is definitely worth experiencing, so give it your serious consideration.

Hugely Enjoyable

This album is a wonderful listen all the way through. Thoughtful trancy ambience taking you places you'll wish you could visit in real life. Ultimae seem to be able to spot real talent and is fast becoming one of my favourite labels....

H.U.V.A. Network

TwistedDirtyLogic

When Solar Fields Meets Aes Dana. When swedish artist Solar Fields (Magnus Birgersson) meets french artist Aes Dana (Vincent Villuis) The outcome is H.U.V.A. Network, a downtempo project where North and South regions mix and jumble together in a fluid manner. The pair of sound architects explore ambient-electronica landscapesand their multiple layouts. Great, yes this one too :-)

Well, this is my second review here... so what can I say - I like this album very much. If you like ambient music and electronic music (not techno, mind you, but music like j.m.jarre, vangelis and the like - although this is different) then listen in and decide for yourself. I liked to "bathe" my cerebral cortex ;-) in this kind of "soup", it's creative, evoking visions and ideas. Seems like a lot of good stuff is coming from Sweden. This is the second project (after Carbon based lifeforms) that comes from Sweden. Cool :-)
