this is a great album for anyone looking to relax or enjoy the general ambiance of their surroundings...
Now, I'm not into all the hype around albums to much. But, this one I can play while hiking, speeding, hell even playing XBOX. Favorite track, .blank by far...
Play this music in the background of your favourite space video game, and delete that crud that came with it... Some wickedly stunning tunes here!
Easy to get lost in, yet not too slow. An instant favorite.
Never lets me down. Always solid releases
Simply exquisite. This is one of the best things I've heard for a long long time. Superb from start to finish. I'm a big fan of Endtroducing by DJ Shadow and this album reminds me of it in a way - I listen to it alot when I'm driving and it has a similar mood and feel to it. It's not the same style though! Hard to explain. It's deep, intense, sublime, top-drawer technically, musical. Lots of throaty dreamy background tones with steady beats and music over the top. It's really fantastic. Can't recommend it highly enough. Put this on when you're feeling really chilled-out and it will transport you to another dimension! ;-)
I listen to this album when I'm studying and it's perfect... very tranquil and easy to get lost in.
As good as their last album. Love the guitar!!!
Humans Under Visual Atmospheres (H.U.V.A. Network) is back with a long awaited sophomore release on Lyon (France) based Ultimae Records. Before I cover the album, it's worth it to pause and deconstruct this group. H.U.V.A is a duo comprised of Magnus Birgersson and Vincent Villuis. Birgersson is none other than Solar Fields, a regular on Ultimae, with six full length albums. If that alias sounds familiar, it's probably because you were blown away by his recent music score for the Electronic Arts game Mirror's Edge. That's right, that's Birgersson. And Monsieur Villuis is none other than Aes Dana, an alumni member of Asura (as of 2001) and part owner of Ultimae with Sandrine Gryson (Mahiane). With such a solid and talented combination, you'd be right to get excited about this next installment in psybient evolution. Full review only on headphonecommute.com
