Blues and Jazz, as real as it gets

Barbad

According to the small wiki entry none of the members are actually from Harlem. Which may be true but I am aware that Charlie McCoy is from the Delta and Rosetta Howard from Chicago and that could explain the appeal of this distinct and heartfelt jazz sound with wonderfully genuine country blues undertones. Also you gotta love how all of the different vocals range from the gruff (Herb Morand) to girlish (Frankie Jaxon doing that female impersonation that he does). Every album's definately worth the asking price.
