Track 1 definitely isn't doing it for me, but things generally improve significantly after that. Overall, a nice, relaxing album featuring delightfully dreamy guitars, but sometimes lacking complexity or real substance. Prelucid is an example of a track that might, with some lower frequencies added, have been quite moving, but unfortunately wasn't. Track 3 makes me positively dizzy with its swirling repetitions - I skip it entirely. Tracks 4 and, particularly, 5 have a little more depth than track 2 and, again, feature beautiful guitars that will float you away in quiet ecstasy. Track 6, which features a keyboard, is almost haunting, while track 7 IS haunting; the silences speak far louder than the music itself. Tracks 8 and 9 are slightly livelier piano solos and nothing to shout about. I'd have rated 3.5 if possible.
...but everything's ok with this and I like Harold Budd so much that every work of him is a little piece of beauty for my heart, so does "Little Windows"
