Creamy, Dreamy, Heavy
I found Heavy Water Experiments on MySpace (or maybe they found me - I don't remember). I only had enough credits to download half their album, but what I've heard, I love. The heavy 8-string fuzz bass defines their sound, kind of like a U.S. version of Anekdoten, but with better vocals. Their sound draws heavily from the psychedelic and progressive bands of the 60s and 70s with obvious, more current influences. I highly recommend this album and can't wait to download the rest of it.
