This song was such an important part of my childhood. I cried the first time I heard it, but then there was hope. Maybe Shannon did find an Island somewhere? Childhood dreams and nightmares... This song is SO CLASSIC!!!!!! Love it!!!!!

Henry Gross: 1976
I had this album in 1976 and listened to it a lot. I bought it mostly b/c it was on Lifesong label and I really liked Crack the Sky. Found this album to be very enjoyable. Listened to it a lot back then. Have to say I haven't enjoyed it as much in recent listening. but it does bring back the memories. Gross probably deserved more success than he got through the years. This is a good album. But not a classic.

32 years after buying the first Henry Gross album I am still listening to it, in its entirety, today.

After his first 2 albums ole Henry tried a bit of slower melodies,it's all good as a whole.
I had this in an old 8 track
Only a couple of songs that are nice after the classic Shannon. I enjoyed hearing them again and downloading a few of the songs such as Overton Square and Springtime Mama.
