Music to journey with
Pandora dished up one of the tracks from this album while I was listening to a station based on H.U.V..A. Networks. I am so excited to find this guy! Each song is carefully crafted, with complex textures, interesting sounds and sustained beats. It's not pop-sounding, but it's not really trance, experimental or down-tempo. Some songs border on an epic sound, like a soundtrack score, or convey movement and make me want to be on a train listening with headphones. I love the darker, melancholy chord progressions, strands of melody and voice samples. Several songs remind me of the brilliant score to the movie Hannah by Chemical Brothers.
