Hoodoo Gurus most underrated album!

Even though Crank is never listed as anyones favourite Hoodoo Gurus albums, I believe it to be their most underrated . Yes it is dark in places (Crossed Wires, Fading Slow, Judgement Day) but also includes some of their best rockers in The Right Time and I See You. It also has some of their greatest pop songs in Less than a Feeling and You Open My Eyes which are up there with the best they have written. If you haven't heard the Hoodoo Gurus before go and download Stonage Romeos first, but this would be a very good album to download next.

After a decade of making music, the Hoodoo Gurus sound much the same as they did back on their first hit, “I Want You Back.” With Crank, the Gurus continue to mine the power-pop they love so dearly with suprisingly great results. “Less Than a Feeling” mines the Boston/Nirvana riff with more than a touch of sarcasm, and “The Right Time” is a great four minutes of what the Gurus do best.
