Classic Hot Chip, actually.

Britster

5 albums in(!) and it's understandable if a little Hot Chip fatigue has set in for some fans. OK, that could be due in part to some of this album's arrangements - like its predecessor One Night Stand but a little more reliant on bland synths and traditional instrumentation. A little, I stress. This is Hot Chip after all. However, I'd say that if you little with it a little you realise this is as strong a set of songs as any they've released - and they have an undeniable stone-cold Hot Chip classic in 'Flutes'. Now guys, please let the freak flag fly again!

So Far So Good

Don't listen to deliciousdemon. I looked in Amazon just to see for myself the price difference, it was $9.99. I have always been able to get music cheaper here. And you get more information and more service.

in Our Heads - Motion Sickness

Hot Chip's music, lyrics and electronica touch me deep down and their sincerity comes shining through - a gem of a record and a gem of a first song!

It gets better every time I listen to it. Definitely download the whole album. Favorites include: flutes, ends of the earth, How do you do?. Night and Day reminds me the most of music off of their last album, which is fine, but the ones listed above have a new fresh beat to them.

Solid

It's not without similar hooks as One Life Stand, but their new album lacks the forthright and brassy dance beats that beautifully counter Alexis Taylor's vocals. The new release leaves traces of its predecessor and shifts from thumping beats into vague synth XTC territory.

It's makes me really sad that Amazon is frequently beating eMusic with prices now. This is $4.99 on Amazon. So lame.
