Interesting comments from other listeners. I also have all four albums and I think this is their most accessible, with more easy melody on the ear and an occasionally sounding rocky sound. Possibly their best. The others are good too though.
This is their fourth full length and what a great disappointment it is - so bland and characterless in comparison to the two distinctive and excellent albums that preceeded it. eMusic does not unfortunately have either the eponymous second album or the third album, Gods & Monsters available for download at present.
totally underrated Manc band with great zest and not bad songs - should be bigger than they are - just seem to have slipped off the radar and been swamped by all the artic wannabees - shame. Download and be proud.
New release from trio from Manchester gathering momentum and fans. Earnest, hip-shake catchy songs, if nothing groudbreaking. "Ferris Wheel" and "Chaperone", the quiet folksy "At the Sea," and the Oasisy pop-rock-love-anthem "Someone Like You" are well worth a download.
